Top 3 Banner selection tips from Mountain Shade
How to Select Tear Drop, Hanging and Feather Banners
This is a tip from the industry, available to our Mountain Shade customers. These tips are based on Customer feedback.
1. Cheapest is not usually good. Cheapest definitely doesn't last. If you are buying business promotion banner flags, and want them to last more than a few uses, then you need to pay attention to buying products with reasonable quality. This means the pole and base need to be thick and strong, and the Printing needs to be warranted for quality by a Replacement Guarantee - and this is the difference between the cheapies and quality suppliers. DONT BUY THE CHEAPEST, or you will be disappointed.
2. Printing is not the same: Printing from suppliers that doesn't have an anti-fade Printing Warranty is usually low quality and will fade quickly. UV Resistant Inks are meaningless, unless the supplier is willing to back the quality with a Replacement Warranty, like Mountain Shade. BEWARE if the price is low and if you dont get an anti-fade warranty. Again, DONT BUY THE CHEAPEST, or you will be disappointed.
3. Pole and Bearing sizes need to be thicker.: Poor quality poles and grass spikes with small bearing shafts mean the pole and base will break down quickly in the wind. Mountain Shades uses the thick 16.7mm pole shaft and larger base bearing shafts which are the biggest in the industry. This means you are getting quality and a product that will survive for longer, in the harsh Australian outdoors. Finally, DONT BUY THE CHEAPEST, or you will be disappointed.
In summary, there is usually only a few dollars difference between a cheap banner flag pole and base, and quality like a Mountain Shade. Add to this, the 12 month Not to Fade Printing Warranty Mountain Shade offers, which easily makes it a better Return on Investment (ROI) to buy a Mountain Shade.
